Ricardo Ros is a Vice President at Decarbonization Partners. In this role, Ricardo is focused on commercial strategy and business development initiatives across the platform.

Decarbonization Partners is a joint venture by BlackRock and Temasek investing in leading technology companies, accelerating decarbonization across global industry and economies.

Prior to Decarbonization Partners, Ricardo was a member of the BlackRock Alternatives Specialists group covering private equity working closely with client, product and investment teams, to establish key strategic new business units in the firm, including spending two years as a product strategist for BlackRock Long Term Private Capital and a year with the Climate Finance Partnership. Prior to joining the BlackRock Graduate Programme in 2017, Ricardo completed internships at Mercedes Benz, Intercement and Pinheiro Neto.

Ricardo graduated with a BSc in Investments and Financial Risk Modelling from Bayes Business School and was a member of Enactus where he led a start-up in agtech "Hydrovillage", finalists of the McKinsey Venture Academy. He also speaks Portuguese, Spanish, French and German.
