Pieter Houlleberghs is a Managing Director and Investment Committee member at Decarbonization Partners. In this role, Pieter leads investment sourcing, underwriting, execution and portfolio management.

Decarbonization Partners is a joint venture by BlackRock and Temasek investing in leading technology companies, accelerating decarbonization across global industry and economies.

Pieter currently serves on the boards of Monolith Materials (Hydrocarbon pyrolysis and power for AI), Carbon Direct (Power and carbon markets advisory), Guidewheel (physical AI for manufacturers), Orennia (software for energy and data center development), and Osapiens (regulatory compliance and supply chain transparency software). 

Prior to Decarbonization Partners, Pieter led Temasek’s energy and materials growth investment activity in the Americas. Pieter has 21 years of investment experience in the global energy and materials sectors, and has held senior investment banking roles covering the energy and resources sector with UBS, Rothschild and Barclays in London and Sydney.

Pieter holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering (MEng) from Imperial College London with First Class Honours and a Masters in Industrial Design from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon.
